For many years, we have individually dedicated ourselves to community service, driven by the values of compassion, solidarity, and mutual aid that are deeply rooted in our faith and heritage. Our journeys have taken us through various paths—educators, healthcare professionals, artists, entrepreneurs—but our commitment to making a difference has always been the common thread.

We saw the challenges faced by BAME women in our communities: the struggles for equality, the need for safe spaces, the importance of cultural recognition, and the desire for opportunities to grow and succeed. Motivated by these challenges and inspired by the strength and resilience of the women around us, we decided to come together to create an organisation that could address these needs more effectively.

Scottish Bame Women, was established as a beacon of support and empowerment. We believe in the power of unity in diversity, and we strive to create an inclusive environment where every woman feels valued, heard, and supported. Through our various programmes, from educational workshops and cultural events to health initiatives and advocacy, we aim to provide the tools and opportunities for women to thrive.
